Rates Determination:

 

Well  now, down to the emotive subject of cost/price/rates etc.

 

It’s simple really, you want me to do it for nothing and I want to be rewarded for my efforts, all we need to do is agree mutually how much the job is worth to each of us. To help you, I offer this variation of a diagram that Project Managers should be familiar with,  we can use it as the basis of balancing our financial negotiations; if one point or two points of the triangle are  fixed then the other's must move to balance the triangle—simple really…… e.g.  if you have a fixed financial constraint then patently either the quality and or the time must change to keep balance.

 

If it’s demanding physically or technically then naturally my price will have a higher commencing negotiation value……….
