The POHIM Brand Name

The POHIM brand name came to fruition as a result of a cherished vehicle registration mark fitted to a 1974  Lotus Elan Plus 2/130 JPS Special Edition I once proudly owned. The POH 1M registration has been retained and transferred to subsequent vehicles, now proudly displayed on the latest ‘company limousine’. Why so cherished? Well because I have an active interest in reading poetry and “POH 1M” sounds memorable…. The time spent trying to dream up words to amplify POHIM into a meaningful company name was not inconsiderable…………...Hopefully, it meets my needs for long term business success.

Why the American Bison Logo? It represents me; stubborn determination,  survival and resourcefulness (essential needs for small businesses), individualism (those who know me well will relate to these particular personal attributes).  Additionally, it provides a link to my personal fascination with Historical American Western Culture. My collection of  American Belt Buckles has 2 centre piece Bison Buckles that have special personal memories associated with them.

Did I research whether “POHIM” had meanings in other languages and cultures? Yes. It is also an Albanian word meaning “Assertion or Affirmation etc”.
